Nishikubo Hachiman

The shrine is a short walk from Kamiyacho Station, and several visitors also came on foot from Tokyo Tower or Zojoji. There are steep stone steps up to the grounds, and the site is directly connected to nearby Hills development areas, so it is easy to fit into a city walk.

Once inside, you get a quiet, well-kept space surrounded by office buildings. The grounds feel more open than the street outside, and the view can be especially nice against the high-rises. It is an Hachiman shrine with a long local history, and people visit for protection, child-rearing, and success in work or competition.
