North of Shibuya, this shrine is a short walk from NHK and Yoyogi Park, but you’ll need to climb a set of steps to reach the grounds. It sits above street level, so the visit feels quiet and separate from the city, with views toward National Stadium and the surrounding area.
The main hall is modern and relatively small, and the grounds are well kept. Behind the main shrine you can also visit the auxiliary shrines for Shusse Benzaiten and Haji-ke Tenmangu. The office is open and the staff are reported to be courteous, and goshuin are available, including separate ones for the shrine and Benzaiten.
