Just a short walk from JR Harajuku Station and Meiji-Jingumae Station, this shrine sits right behind Takeshita Street, so you can slip in easily during a Harajuku stop. It is usually very quiet inside, especially in the morning, and the grounds are well kept.
Plan a little extra time for the garden area and pond, which are the main highlights. Reviewers mention seasonal flowers, a decorative bridge, and many koi fish. The shrine is dedicated to Admiral Togo Heihachiro and is known for victory and success prayers.
The office sells omamori and omikuji, and some themed charms are popular.
