You can walk here from Tokyo Skytree Station, Asakusa, or the Skytree area, and the shrine sits beside a park, so it works well as part of a neighborhood stroll. It is known for its unusual miwa torii gate, rare komagyu and nadeushi statues, and a wide range of omikuji.
The grounds are small but worth time, with a history dating back to 860. Several reviews mention the autumn ginkgo trees as especially beautiful. If you visit, try the hand-rubbing custom at the nadeushi, and note that the shrine gets tourist traffic, so it can feel lively.
