Satake-ji (佐竹寺), officially Myōfuku-zan Myōn-in Satake-ji, is a Buddhist temple in Hitachiōta, Ibaraki Prefecture. It belongs to the Buzan school of Shingon Buddhism and is known for its main image, a statue of Jūichimen Kannon Bosatsu, also called Kitamuke Kannon. The temple is significant as the 22nd stop on the Bandō Sanjūsankasho pilgrimage route. Its history is tied to regional worship in eastern Japan, and it remains an active temple for devotional practice. Visitors come to see the temple grounds and the Kannon image, which is central to its religious identity. As part of the Bandō pilgrimage, Satake-ji has an important place in the network of Kannon temples across the Kanto region.
