At a Glance
The Ebisu sub-shrine on the grounds hosts the Toka Ebisu festival from 9 to 11 January, with its own Ebisu kagura dances.
The shrine took shape in the Keicho era, when castle lord Koide Hidemasa, an uncle of Toyotomi Hideyoshi, moved the Gozu Tenno and Hachiman shrines here while rebuilding Kishiwada Castle. It received its present name in 1868.
This shrine offers goshuin, but we don't have photos yet. Be the first to share yours!

The shrine's own goshuin book costs 2,000 yen and features the torii, danjiri floats and Kishiwada Castle.
The Danjiri Matsuri takes place on the Saturday and Sunday before Respect for the Aged Day in September, when the floats enter the shrine. Expect very large crowds.
