Ganden-ji (岩殿寺), formally Kaiun-san Gokoku-in Ganden-ji (海雲山 護國院 岩殿寺), is a Sōtō Zen Buddhist temple in the Hisagi area of Zushi, Kanagawa Prefecture. It is known for its honzon, a statue of Jūichimen Kannon Bosatsu, and for its location at the second stop on the Bandō Sanjūsankasho pilgrimage route. The temple is also called “Iwadono Kannon” because the main hall stands against a cliff with a shallow cave chapel containing a stone image of Kannon Bosatsu. This setting links the site to Kannon worship and pilgrimage practice, making it an important religious stop in the region.
