• Use community features when you want context from other visitors, not as a replacement for official temple or shrine information.

Steps

1. See recently active temples and shrines.
2. Discover goshuin or places other users are engaging with.
3. Open posts for comments, related activities, or place context.
4. Use filters when you want a specific type of activity.

Tips

• Share context that helps other visitors make better decisions.
• Check-in posts may show "Location matched" when the check-in was made within 1 km of the temple or shrine. Other check-ins do not show a negative or unverified label.
• Avoid posting private travel details or information about other people.
• Use reports when content is unsafe, spammy, misattributed, or misleading.

Troubleshooting

• If a post, comment, or profile item is missing, check your sign-in state and visibility settings first.
• If community content is inaccurate or inappropriate, use the report path and include the specific post or place context.
• If a public collection is not visible, review the goshuincho or profile privacy setting before sharing the link again.

Privacy, accuracy, or availability notes

• Community content can include personal opinions, visit timing, and user-uploaded media; verify important details before relying on them.
• Goshuin does not expose raw check-in coordinates or distance in the community feed.
• Public profile and goshuincho pages may reveal collection history or travel patterns.
