Before you start

• Check account status, app permissions, and notification settings before using Pro, widgets, export, or support workflows.
• For visit-based achievement badges, allow location access when you check in at a temple or shrine. Only check-ins with a captured location within 1 km of the place count as verified visit progress.
• For support requests, include the screen name, place name, and what you expected to happen.

Steps

1. Open Achievements, Notifications, or Widgets depending on what you want to review.
2. Check the progress, trigger, or permission state before assuming something is broken.
3. Adjust iOS notification or widget settings if app settings look correct but updates do not appear.
4. Use achievements as collection motivation, not as a complete record of every visit.

Tips

• Review privacy and notification settings after changing how you use the product.
• Include the page or screen name when contacting support.
• Export important data before deleting or replacing an account.

Troubleshooting

• If Pro features do not unlock, confirm the subscription state and the Apple ID used for purchase.
• If a visit did not advance a verified visit badge, confirm the check-in was made while you were at the place and that location permission was available. Manual, backdated, missing-location, or outside-threshold check-ins still save as visits but do not count as verified visit badge progress.
• If notifications or widgets do not update, check iOS permissions and app background settings.
• If support needs to investigate, include screenshots, app version, device model, and the screen where the issue happened.

Privacy, accuracy, or availability notes

• Subscription and account support can involve purchase or identity details; avoid sharing sensitive information in public posts.
• Community posts only show the positive "Location matched" signal when a check-in matched the place. Goshuin does not show public warnings for unknown or not-matched check-ins, and raw coordinates or distance are not shown in the feed.
• Data export and deletion are account-level actions, so review what will be included or removed before confirming.
• Notifications, widgets, and app features depend on iOS permissions and system settings.
