Aizen Myōō

Aizen Myōō is a Wisdom King venerated within esoteric Buddhism, regarded as a powerful deity who transforms worldly desire and passionate love into spiritual awakening. He is believed to embody the principle that earthly attachments, rather than being obstacles, can serve as a direct path toward enlightenment when properly channeled.

He is closely associated with esoteric Buddhist traditions, particularly those of the Shingon and Tendai schools, and is frequently enshrined at temples connected with Mount Kōya and other centers of esoteric practice.
