Bring cash for any offerings or purchases, as this small, historically significant temple may not have card payment systems readily available.

Plan to visit in the evening when the Yakushi Hall (薬師堂) is lit up, as this illumination is a signature feature of the temple and creates a completely different atmosphere than daytime visits.
