Emperor Chokei's tomb is located directly behind the main hall. The temple once housed a hall modeled after Kyoto's famous Sanjusangendo with 1,000 statues of Kannon enshrined inside.

이 사찰은 '황금 우물' 전설과 관련이 있으며, 이것이 Konsen-ji('황금 샘 사찰')라는 이름의 유래입니다.

The Daishi Hall contains a rare vermilion-colored statue of Kōbō Daishi, created after a fisherman lost at sea reported seeing the saint appear glowing red to guide him safely back to harbor.

시코쿠 88개소 순례길 외에도 Konsen-ji는 아와 사이고쿠 33 관음 순례의 23번 사찰이며, 아와 호쿠레이 야쿠시 순례의 9번 사찰입니다.
