Imakumano Kannon-ji 사원(今熊野観音寺)

Emperor Go-Shirakawa was cured of chronic headaches here, making this the famous "head pain relief Kannon." Since then, people have flocked here for headache remedies for over 850 years.

The main bell was confiscated during WWII's metal collection campaign but miraculously survived the war and returned to the temple—one of the few bells to escape being melted down.
