Founded in 1606 by Nene in memory of Toyotomi Hideyoshi, this Rinzai Zen temple features stunning Momoyama-period lacquerwork, gardens designed by Kobori Enshū, and seasonal illuminations. The grounds include historic teahouses, a bamboo grove, and a mausoleum.
