대보장암 일조사

가기 전에 알아두세요

Visit on a weekday morning if you want to photograph the temple's seasonal flower arrangements (hanachozu) without competing with weekend crowds, and arrive before 11 AM when light is best for capturing the details.

If you're collecting goshuin stamps, ask at the office about the current month's special designs, as the temple rotates between regular stamps, zodiac-themed stamps, and intricate cut-paper designs that sell out quickly.

Check the official website before visiting to confirm the goshuin (stamp) office hours and any temporary closures, as the temple regularly updates its schedule for seasonal offerings like the decorative kirie goshuin and flower arrangements.

Bring cash in small denominations, as the temple's gift shop and goshuin office may have limited ability to process card payments, and some special stamp designs are only available for a limited time each month.
