The Yakushido hall is believed to cure warts and corns. Visitors dedicate votive tablets with octopus pictures, believing the octopus suckers will magically remove their corns.

Sankaku-jiは、四国遍路の伝統において中心的存在である高僧・空海、弘法大師ゆかりの寺です。

Childless couples receive a special ladle from the temple and eat a meal together using it. After having a baby, they return with a new ladle to donate as thanks for the blessing.

Famous haiku poet Kobayashi Issa visited in 1795 and wrote about the temple's ancient cherry trees. These same trees, now 300 to 400 years old, still bloom every spring.
