Prenota il tuo soggiorno al tempio con largo anticipo, soprattutto durante i periodi di punta. Gli ospiti che pernottano possono partecipare alla cerimonia buddhista mattutina alle 6:30 ogni giorno dell'anno, oltre che alla meditazione. Il tempio si trova a circa 4 km dalla Stazione di Gokurakubashi e a 4,8 km dalla Stazione di Koyasan, con parcheggio privato gratuito in loco.
Dedica tempo a passeggiare lentamente per i giardini e a osservare sei antichi cedri, ognuno di diversi secoli di età, che si adattano perfettamente all'atmosfera solenne e alla storia di 800 anni del tempio.
