Questo santuario si trova a sud-est del Castello di Himeji, con l'accesso principale da sud. Potete raggiungerlo facilmente dall'area del castello, e i terreni sono disposti ordinatamente con la sala principale rivolta verso l'ingresso e il banco dei souvenir sul lato ovest.
All'interno, aspettatevi uno spazio tranquillo e ben mantenuto che risulta molto più calmo rispetto alla città circostante e all'area del castello. I terreni sono spaziosi, quindi potete visitare senza fretta. Diverse recensioni menzionano un'atmosfera solenne, e nei primi giorni di gennaio c'erano decorazioni con lanterne per un evento di Capodanno.
