Pourquoi y aller
- Mandara-ji a été fondé au début du 14e siècle à la demande de l'empereur Go-Daigo.
- The wisteria pergolas stretch 75 meters long and cover 4,700 square meters, creating a canopy so vast that 60 wisteria vines from 11 different species bloom in waves from early to late spring.
- In 1970, the temple donated part of its land to Konan City specifically to preserve the wisteria gardens, transforming sacred grounds into a public park that now attracts visitors from across Japan.
