概览
Stones from ground zero in Hiroshima and Nagasaki are embedded within the statue, and an eternal flame shaped like a mushroom burns inside to honor atomic bomb victims.
Inside the hollow statue sits a small museum and shrine open to visitors, allowing pilgrims to stand within the 25-meter concrete goddess herself while viewing exhibits about the temple's history.

The temple is open 9am to 4pm daily, and there's no on-site parking, so use the nearby coin parking or take the Shonan-Monorail directly to Ōfuna Station (the statue is visible from the train).
Admission is 300 yen for adults and 100 yen for children, but the real experience is inside the statue itself, where a small museum and shrine occupy the interior.
Maintain quiet and respectful behavior throughout your visit, especially when moving through the interior shrine space and prayer area within the statue.
The statue's white exterior is best photographed in clear weather from the station area or from the temple grounds below, where you can capture it against blue sky.
Wear comfortable shoes with good grip because the interior staircase of the statue is narrow and steep, and the climb up to the viewing platform inside requires steady footing.
