出发前须知

Reception runs 9:00 to 16:00 for goshuin, amulets and main-hall viewing, but may pause during services.

Groups wanting the paid main-hall viewing must contact the temple in advance, and there is no large-bus parking on the grounds.

Meditation sessions and tea-time talks with the monks are available by reservation, by phone or email.

Takayama Station is about a four-minute walk away, so the temple fits easily before or after the old town.
