Enko-ji

During peak autumn season (November 10 to December 10), admission jumps from 600 yen to 1,500 yen and requires online reservations. The maple trees here are considered worth the premium price and planning.

The temple garden features a suikinkutsu, an underground water basin that creates delicate bell-like sounds when water drips into it. This musical ornament adds to the Zen atmosphere visitors experience while walking the grounds.
